The Feast of the Most Holy Cross, held annually in the first week of May, kicks off with a series of artistic and cultural events on 1 May and ends with the procession of the simulacrum and fireworks on 3 May.

This annual event takes place in the cathedral each November with a large number of outstanding national and Sicilian artists.
Annual event July/August Benedictine Abbey of San Martino delle Scale. The large mechanical organ used in different ways at the various concerts is the undisputed protagonist of these festivities.
