Neighborhood Baviera o Turbe

The neighborhood develops in the highest part of the town, along with the S. Vito district around the 16th century, composed of narrow and some sloping streets. The neighborhood has been isolated from the rest of the town. The name 'Turbe' derives from turbulence, also called the BAVARIA neighborhood because it was formerly inhabited by tax collectors, known as Bavarians at that time.
